Learn how to plant a beautiful colorful rain garden to collect your rainwater runoff! Rain gardens reduce flooding by helping runoff soak into the ground; they also filter pollutants and help keep our lakes and rivers clean. The Tippecanoe Watershed Foundation is holding a Rain Garden Workshop on May 16 at the North Webster Community Center.
The workshop will take place from 10am-3pm and you will be able to learn the basics of rain gardening for your yard, visit the garden planted at Jellystone in 2008, design a garden, and plant a new one in front of the North Webster Community Center!
Contact Lyn at telwf@kconline.com or (574) 834-3242 to register for this FREE workshop. Lunch will be provided for $5-10.
Sponsored by: Tippecanoe Watershed Foundation, JFNew, Stenger Excavating, and the North Webster Community Center
