Northern Indiana Lakes Festival
June 27, Center Lake in Warsaw
Our lakes are one of Northern Indiana's most valuable resources. They are vital to our economy, our environment, and our very sense of community. And who among us hasn't been touched in some way by the beauty and serenity that lakes can bring to our hectic lives? Important as our lakes are to life, it is easy to take their services for granted. The purpose of the Northern Indiana Lakes Festival is to make a splash in local awareness and appreciation for our lakes through education, experience, and celebration of these precious resources. We all depend on our lakes - and we invite you to join us in celebrating this fact by becoming a part of the Northern Indiana Lakes Festival!
Family-friendly activities and events during the Northern Indiana Lakes Festival will include a pancake breakfast, canoe ecotour, a ski show by Lake City Skiers, interactive song & dance performances by Billy B, a water splash & play area, delicious food, fishing, water quality testing, demonstrations by the Police Department's Dive Team, door prizes, a boat show, exhibits and booths by lake & water-related businesses and non-profit organizations, and more!
The NI Lakes Festival is being presented by Kosciusko Lakes and Streams (KLAS) and the Tippecanoe Watershed Foundation (TWF). Lakes-Guardian sponsors include the American Water Company, Kosciusko County Convention & Visitors Bureau, Kosciusko County Soil & Water Conservation District, Warsaw Community Development Corporation, Warsaw Community Public Library, and the Warsaw Parks & Recreation Department.
